history

Busselton Fire Station is designed in a low-key interpretation of the inter-war functionalist style of architecture. It was built in 1936 and was actively used as a Fire Station up until 1990 ! after this time it was home to local art groups and charity shops.

Over its life the Firestation has been intimately bound up with the provision of social welfare.

The Fire Station Bar Busselton - Beer, Wine, Food

it has catered to the needs of the community in so many ways, acting as a social hub for many organisations.

Through its reincarnation as a small bar we bring the local elements back to life with support of local beer, wine and food producers and hopefully it can once again be of central importance to the people of Busselton and all those who pass through!

CRAFT BEER & NATURAL WINE ETHOS

At the Firestation we focus on organic and natural wines from small producers both locally and throughout Australia/internationally. Our back board features a rotating selection of wines from our list by the glass and 500ml carafe. This keeps your wine choices fresh with the opportunity to try something different ! Our house wine is made by local wine makers and is served on tap which offers amazing quality and freshness. They're for everyday drinking.

We love craft beer ! We have four regular taps as well as seven rotating guest taps which feature great local and hard to find seasonal craft beers from around the globe.
